BIJOU LAMP + TABLE BY SERGEY MAKHNO ARCHITECTS

Sergey Makhno Architects introduces the Bijou Lamp + Table, designed by the studio's founder in partnership with Igor Havrylenko, a stunning work of design that showcases a modern charm and effortless elegance embedded in two objects from our daily lives.

Based in Kyiv, Ukraine, the studio pulls off a sophisticated combination of stone, marble, and steel, completing the spruced-up scenario of a lifetime: the lamp and the table create a relationship of
support and timeless beauty; its shape fits everywhere you like it, but its intentions are beyond spatial.

Bijou was born in the pursuit of minimalistic and practical beauty, in the search of wilderness and coziness, in the life-long admiration of flamingos with their long legs, sophisticated necks, and pink flashes. Bijou is a home flamingo.

Although it looks like a stiff sculpture born to do what's supposed to do and that's it, the lamp rotates an astounding 180 degrees so its LED light can be directed where you need it to. The purposes are wholesome: the Bijou Lamp + Table can live in your living room, but also an office or next to your bed.
